Black Rock Geosciences LLC (BRG) provides a full range of environmental, ecological, and geological consulting services, from Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Geologic Site Assessments to the investigation and remediation of impacted soil and groundwater as well as stream restoration design and monitoring. We solve complex environmental, ecological, and geological challenges, while balancing regulatory requirements with project objectives and client goals.
Assessment
BRG is highly experienced in completing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Geologic Site/Hazard Assessments for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal properties, including roadways and schools. BRG is also experienced in bioassessments, including monitoring and indicators.
Investigation
BRG has conducted numerous investigations to evaluate surface water, soil, soil gas, or groundwater. Project types range from small vacant lands to large Superfund sites. Investigations include biological, chemical, as well as physical (habitat) parameters. BRG furthermore has experience with biological surveys and management plans as well as stream restoration projects and monitoring.
Remediation
BRG has prepared comprehensive feasibility studies and remedial action plans, primarily for State and Federal agencies, that have included the use of chemical injections, soil vapor extraction, soil excavation, and natural attenuation.
